The BUILD phase marks the end of planning and beginning of construction!
When on-site construction commences you’ll see how all the advanced planning works to keep the project on time and in budget. Here's what you can expect:
Project managers oversee construction & subcontractor labor to ensure the home is built to our GreenTex standards and to the Green Building specifications outlined and definited at the start.
It's our policy to meet weekly with our clients on the jobsite, whenever possible. These meetings, ideally, will be between you, your architect, your project manager, and GreenTex co-owner, Cory McCallum. We discuss the progress of construction, address any construction concerns, and confirm the selection of finishes and operation of installed systems.
Your home is considered substantially complete when it passes all final building code inspections and occupancy is allowed. At this time we ask for final payment and generate a final punch list. The punch list is typically a list of very minor tasks required to bring the project to 100% completion, and includes tasks such as touch-up painting, installation of accessory hardware, etc.
Once your project is complete we move to Phase 5 - Wrap-Up
