In this initial phase we give you tools to determine our company's fitness for your project. We learn your needs and establish trust with a brief questionnaire, an interview, and due diligence.
Here's what you can expect:
Your first step is to complete a questionnaire. This helps to better clarify key information such as the features you desire, your budget and time frame, and what you’re looking for in a design/build team. Once completed and returned to our office, we’ll coordinate with you the next logical steps.
Homeowners find its important for all decision makers and stake holders take the 20-30 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Having both spouses or partners involved from the beginning helps better realize your mutual vision and meet the expectations of all involved.
After reviewing your questionnaire and outlining your project goals, we schedule our first meeting to explore next steps for your new home, remodel, or green-building project. We walk you through what to expect as we build your vision.
Since we don't have the capability or desire to draw or build for everyone who calls us, we want to see if the kind of house you want is one we will be particularly good at designing and building. We also want to be sure that we all communicate well with each other and that we will be able to meet your desires and expectations.
Our goals during the interview stage are to get to fully understand your vision, to build your trust and confidence in our team, and to determine if we are the best firm for your project.
We are part of a community of builders and designers and if we feel that your project is better suited to one of our colleagues we will be very up front in telling you and will even give you their phone number.
After meeting with us, check us out. We are confident you'll see you get more – comfort, health, durability, zero net energy value, and exemplary quality and service – with us. We invite you to ask questions and complete the following:
